I decided my soul lived in this can I found by the railroad tracks. The interior of the can is full of hard, crusty cement. I installed a huge light and crushed glass. I mounted it on an elegant 5’ high base made of granite and mahogany, displayed it at the Lighthouse show and Oakland's annual “Trash to Treasures.”

Home of Soul is now part of the permanent Phillips Collection in Oakland, California.
