We see a rusted out paint bucket, pierced through with many ragged openings and seemingly held together mainly by the concrete solidified inside. Mounted within the bucket is a globular lightbulb which fills the space and shines through the holes and out the open top with a bright light.
The stand is a mahogany pedestal, topped with a rectagular slab of granite with one broken edge that continues its jagged slight curve onto a hardwood edge molding that runs down one side and across another, holding the granite slab in an open right angle. The slab is separated from the stand proper by a ribbon of scarlet like a rivulet of blood.
