The image depicts a little pile of black sand with a pair of ruined dark glasses on top. The sand has been blown by wind into an ameboid shape with the main body of sand extending tentacles of dark onto the unblemished surface. The piece is evidently located outside since one can see the shadows of leaves over the whole.
